1. The Service
FileFi ("we", "us", "our") operates filefi.com, a no-signup web toolkit of 60+ file tools (video, photo, audio, PDF, text and QR) that process your files entirely in your browser. Everyone gets 5 free uses; FileFi Pro is an optional one-time $20 payment for unlimited use.
2. How It Works
All processing happens locally on your device using open-source browser libraries. Your photos are never uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store, or have access to them.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and legally able to agree to these Terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or invasive of anyone's privacy; not to upload malware or attempt to disrupt the Service; and not to misrepresent the source or ownership of files. You are solely responsible for the photos you process and for having the rights to use them.
5. Honest Capabilities
Tool descriptions on this site state what each tool actually does. "Enhance" uses high-quality resampling and sharpening — it is classic image processing, not AI upscaling. Results vary by photo; we make no guarantee of any particular output quality.
6. No Warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileFi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service (the Service is free: $0).

We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

1. Your Files Stay Yours
FileFi processes everything entirely in your browser. Files are never uploaded to our servers, and we never see, store, analyze, or share them. When you close the tab, everything is gone.
2. Free Trial Counter
You get 5 free uses, total. Our server stores a one-way hash of your IP + browser to count (can't be reversed). It never resets.
3. FileFi Pro
No signup needed. If you buy Pro ($20 once), Stripe collects your email at checkout and shares it with us so you can restore Pro on a new device. We never see your card number. Refunds: 14 days, no questions asked.
4. Third Parties
FileFi shows no ads. We never sell or share your data with anyone, and we never see your photos or files — they stay on your device.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU GDPR), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you (e.g., server logs). Contact support@filefi.com — we respond within 30 days.

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They help websites remember your preferences and understand how the site is used.

filesfi_cookie_consent stores your cookie choice (12 months); filesfi_theme remembers dark/light mode. These cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
- Analytics — Google Analytics cookies that show us how FileFi is used (page views only, never your files), set according to your privacy choices (visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first). FileFi uses no advertising cookies.

Necessary cookies keep FileFi working and remember your choices. Analytics cookies (with your consent) help us understand usage and make FileFi better. There are no advertising cookies.
